Tough but fulfilling experience.
As the president of KCIG, I was responsible for the overall management of the club. This included planning and executing events, managing the club's finances, and ensuring the well-being of the club members. It was a tough but fulfilling experience that taught me a lot about leadership and teamwork.
A learning journey.
This role has given me the invaluable opportunity to engage with people from diverse backgrounds, fostering a deeper appreciation for Korean culture while expanding my global perspective.

Through overseeing multiple projects simultaneously, I have refined my time management skills, balancing administrative responsibilities with strategic planning to create meaningful experiences for members. Delegating tasks effectively has been crucial in empowering my team while maintaining efficiency, and handling club administration - from budgeting to venue bookings - has strengthened my organizational abilities. Additionally, leading meetings, presenting proposals, and addressing large audiences have helped me develop strong public speaking skills and the confidence to articulate ideas clearly.

SIGNature Concert
The big stage.
As a programmes committee member of SLC, I was responsible for planning and executing the club's events. This included managing an annual concert called "SIGNature" and various workshops for the club members. It was a challenging but rewarding experience that taught me valuable skills in event management and teamwork.
Bridging the gaps.
This role has strengthened my ability to foster collaboration and maintain clear communication among members. Leading interviews and selection processes for potential committee members has honed my decision-making skills, allowing me to identify and onboard individuals aligned with the club’s mission and values. Additionally, coordinating and participating in community service initiatives has reinforced the importance of social responsibility, encouraging members to give back to society.

As an instructor, I have also had the opportunity to teach basic sign language, enhancing communication skills and promoting inclusivity within the club. These experiences have collectively refined my leadership, organization, and interpersonal skills, shaping me into a more confident and capable leader.
